Treat Yo’ Self With These Beauty Upgrades

Good morning! Sorry we have been a little MIA, I just flew back last night after a 5 day excursion with my sister in NYC. We had an amazing time but as I sit here with unbelievably sore legs, it dawned on me just how much more walking you actually do in a big metropolis like that. If you checked out our Instagram Stories or Snap Chat then you saw it wasn’t all just walking the city blocks, we spent some time on the rooftop of her building and it was absolutely surreal. In actuality, we spent every evening up there with a glass of wine to watch the sunset, and it was just magical….

 

So as I have mentioned on the blog here previously, I have very sensitive skin. I have to use specific products when I wash my face or shave my armpits and legs or I stand a significant chance of causing skin irritation. If you’ve ever experienced that before than you know that it is SO uncomfortable and itchy! Having dealt with this for the predominant part of my life, I have found a few life hacks to help ease the irritation. I always use shaving cream when shaving my legs/armpits and a must-have is a fragrance free face wash.

When I had the opportunity to partner up with Dove, it was a total no-brainer. I absolutely LOVE their products and have been a long time customer of theirs. I almost exclusively use their sensitive skin line for my body wash, deodorant and hand soaps. Recently, I have been testing out the new Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant in Pomegranate as it offers 48 hours of odor and wetness protection plus added skincare benefits of Dove ¼ moisturizers and Nutrium Moisture for softer, smoother underarms. After further use and review I must admit that I am absolutely loving it, it hasn’t irritated my skin whatsoever! Oh, and let’s be honest, the fact that it lasts 48 hours and I don’t have to reapply, is genius! This deodorant also comes in cucumber, and lavender if you’d like to explore other scents and fragrances.
