New York Minute Update
I‘ve just arrived in New York City about 48 hours ago and the hustle and bustle just hasn’t stopped! I still can’t believe I am even here! It’s been such a wild experience and it’s only just begun…
Let me just give you a little bit of insight on what’s been going on, in case you’ve not been following our Instagram Live! I’ve not snapped a ton of it because on our way up here, I dropped my phone and the entire screen shattered (yay me!). Since dropping it, the battery has been acting up and I’ve been dying at about 25%! When we went to return the U-Haul in Brooklyn (after getting a parking ticket for $120) my phone totally died at 4p, then my mom’s got down to 1% while trying to find an Ikea and a Home Depot at 9p at night… We had to get an Uber still to take us back into the city. Let’s just say, it’s been an experience!
Today’s post isn’t anything elaborate, it’s just a little teaser to give you an idea of what’s coming up next week on NNB from me! It will be a full recap of how the city is different than I expecting, how getting your groceries can be tougher than it looks and so much more. I wish I could have share it today, but the battery on my Cannon died while out and about today PLUS it’s been raining! I think I am ready for my furniture to be in place, my clothes to organized and my empty boxes to be gone now… I am ready to be settled (and have a glass of wine)!!!!
